Program Area/Themes: Agricultural and Natural Resources, Growing Ohio's Green Industry and Agriculture
Works in collaboration with the OSU Extension Administrative Cabinet and nine College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences Chairs to provide leadership for the development of high-impact educational programs and publications. Assists 22 Multi-Disciplinary Commodity/Issue Teams to identify the most efficient means to deliver timely, research-based information and programs to our diverse clientele and stakeholders. Provides leadership through networking with appropriate Ohio/National Commodity Groups, Farm, Green Industry, and Environmental organizations as we assist stakeholders in maximizing profitability while minimizing the impact on the environment. Assists in the creation and evaluation of numerous educational programs and products ranging from team initiated electronic newsletters promoting “Best Management Practices” to assisting County AG/NR Faculty with design and analysis of on-site research. Proactively seeks and identifies appropriate extramural funding for AG/NR Extension Programs and Applied Research. |
